Election, 2020 has been interesting. Our primary on March 17, 2020 had to be continued due to COVID-19 issues and is now scheduled for April 28, 2020. Please know that there will be no official "in-person" voting with the exception of those with disabilities, etc. Please download the application for an absentee ballot from the Board of Elections website or pick one up from their office. They have some outside of their front door. Once you have completed the application, you can mail it to the Board of Elections or deliver it to them and they will send you an official ballot. Upon receipt of your ballot, please complete it and either mail it or drop it off to the Board of Elections office. All voting will be completed by April 28, 2020. Thank you.
I have enjoyed serving Union County, Ohio as the Senior Assistant Prosecuting Attorney and I look forward serving you as your next Probate and Juvenile Judge.

David W. Phillips, Union County Prosecuting Attorney endorses Rick Rodger as the next Union County Probate and Juvenile Judge
As Union County Prosecuting Attorney, I know that a good judge must have the proper judicial temperament, a strong work ethic, be firm, but compassionate and have a deep understanding of the law and how it should be applied. I can attest that Rick has those qualities necessary to serve the people of Union County as the next Union County Probate and Juvenile Judge.
Rick’s broad range of experience, both as a private attorney and as an assistant prosecuting attorney, gives him the depth of legal knowledge necessary to effectively serve as Judge.
I wholeheartedly endorse Rick Rodger for Union County Probate and Juvenile Judge and ask that you join me in voting for him March 17, 2020.

Former Chief Assistant recommends Rick Rodger for Judge
I received the following from Terry Hord, former Chief Assistant Prosecutor for Union County, Ohio:
"Rick Rodger is a candidate for Probate Juvenile Court Judge in Union County. He has appeared as an experienced attorney in the Common Pleas Court, Municipal Court and the Probate and Juvenile Court in several counties. He has prepared and presented cases in the Juvenile Court concerning delinquency, unruliness, abuse and neglect and dependency. In the Probate Court, he has dealt with issues concerning adoption, guardianship, mental illness hearings, and also appeared concerning wills and estates.
Rick Rodger has a very good demeanor, is a well-balanced, experienced and competent attorney and would be an excellent Probate Juvenile Judge for Union County, Ohio. I respectfully support Rick Rodger as candidate for Judge, and encourage you to vote for him in the up-coming Republican primary.
